Salsify has been named a “Leader” in the “IDC MarketScape: Worldwide Product Information Management Applications for Commerce 2024-2025 Vendor Assessment” report.
The IDC MarketScape evaluated Salsify among 18 other product information management (PIM) vendors, using strict criteria to assess each vendor’s strategy and capabilities.
Salsify co-founder and chief strategy and innovation officer Rob Gonzalez says, “A strong PIM is an essential foundation inside of a modern PXM [product experience management] platform, and we’re honored to be recognized as a ‘Leader’ in this space.”
Why the IDC MarketScape Named Salsify as a ‘Leader’ in PIM for Commerce
Salsify’s purpose-built PXM solution helps brands manage product information across channels to meet the increasingly personalized demands of the digital shelf.
The IDC MarketScape recognized Salsify for strengths in:
- Comprehensive PXM network
- PIM/system of record
- Generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) capabilities
According to the IDC MarketScape, brands should “consider Salsify when you are an organization of any size needing a comprehensive PXM solution that is popular in omnichannel product content management, syndication, and digital shelf optimization.”
What’s Next for Salsify?
As the desire for AI-driven shopping experiences grows, PXMs must evolve in lockstep. Salsify is committed to helping brands thrive on the digital shelf by delivering the best possible shopping experiences across every channel.
“Commerce experiences driven by AI will demand more data than ever before, and that means that the capabilities of PXM, as a core system of record, must grow to support it. That is the future Salsify is committed to enabling for our customers,” Gonzalez says.
