What Is Flash Checkout?

Flash Checkout, designed by payments technology company Razorpay, is a mobile solution that enables users to save their payment credentials for quick, efficient checkout at a participating point-of-sale (POS). First, merchants embed Flash Checkout into their ecommerce POS system. Then, users add their payment credentials — such as debit cards, credit cards, or digital wallets — to their account and authenticate themselves via their smartphone. When a shopper then tries to make a purchase at the participating merchant's ecommerce site, their payment information will automatically enter into the POS, enabling a fast, loyalty-boosting checkout experience.
