    Loyalty program integration is the process of embedding rewards accounts, payment processes, and rewards systems into a point-of-sale (POS) or customer engagement solution.

    What Is Loyalty Program Integration?

    In a loyalty program, a brand or retailers rewards customers for making purchases, leaving reviews, or referring friends to the business. Loyalty program integration occurs when brands merge their loyalty program with other customer engagement, sales, and operational systems. When a program is integrated into a point-of-sale (POS) system, for example, the system will automatically assign points or rewards to the logged-in customer after they've completed an action, such as making a purchase. A brand might also use loyalty program integration to track loyalty points on a customer management system to target marketing materials to specific shoppers. Integrating loyalty programs into other business systems enables customers and brands alike to more effectively and conveniently manage their rewards.
